RECIPE: SUSHi BOWL ROLL
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________
A normal day at the Sushi Bar for me usually includes 4 cucumber, avocado and scallion rolls. I don’t know why I like this roll so much, but with some wasabi and coconut aminos I can house anywhere from 20+ pieces on any given day. So one day I figured why not make a huge bowl of everything and just eat it that way. Mind you- I never googled or searched “sushi roll bowl” to get this recipe, and I am not sure if anyone else has done it but, I just wanted to liberate the sushi into one big bowl. And this is how the “Sushi Roll Bowl” was born! know authentic sushi recipes are based with fish as but that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy a recipe like this!

RECIPE TIPS:

•Be careful not to let cook for too long or you will burn the rice at bottom

•Cucumbers are rich in water and fiber, 2 key components for healthy digestion.

•Soy sauce should be called sodium sauce. Shit’s SUPER salty. A lot of salt in one sitting is never good. If you are going to use soy sauce with your sushi, always try to replace it with some type of low-sodium version or a healthier option like coconut aminos.

•If you are on a strict diet plan and want a healthier substitute for the white rice, try brown rice, or even cauliflower rice.

•If you are allergic to onions or just don’t favor them, dice up some Carrots, Jalapeño or Shishito Peppers to add some flavor to the bowl
