2 cups Brown Chickpeas / Kala Chana (soaked overnight or 6 hours)
3 medium Yellow potatoes, sliced in to half
1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup Tomato, finely chopped
1/2 cup Cucumber, chopped
1 medium Green chili, chopped (optional)
Salt to taste
Water
1 tsp Chat masala
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 tsp Black salt
2-3 tbsp of Tamarind chutney*
1 sprig Mint, chopped
2 to 3 Sprig Cilantro, chopped

*To Make Date & Tamarind Chutney (OR) Store bought:
10 medium Pitted Dates, Chopped
1/2 cup Tamarind Puree
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Black Salt
1/2 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
1/2 tsp Salt (as required)
2 tsp Powdered Jaggery
Water
