You can eat this healthy version of butter Paneer which is low on calories without cream or excess butter.
Weight loss need not be boring , just few tweaks, and make it low in calorie and you can still enjoy your favorite food !
Here is how you can make high protein butter paneer gravy for weight loss
The Paneer Butter masala which you get at restaurants are highly calorie dense because of excess cream and butter. Although cream and butter are a part of healthy fats to certain extent but we do not need so much of that in this recipe because paneer already has enough fats. Adding extra butter or cream makes it very dense in calories which leads to high calorie intake.
In this recipe I have tried to maintain the taste and texture same as that in usual Paneer butter masala, the replacement of cream and excess butter used to add the creaminess are few nuts and watermelon seeds.
So, Watermelon seeds is the showstopper in this recipe. Paneer is rich in protein, carbs and healthy fats and is extremely nutritious and watermelon seeds are extremely healthy and nutritious .They are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which are very helpful in reducing the triglycerides.
It makes an ideal option for a protein rich meal and aids weight loss if consumed in right quantity.
I have added little Raw sugar to add some sweetness instead of Refined sugar
Raw sugar/coconut/palm sugar are better options than refined sugar because they have the nutrients intact.
So, I have also mentioned how to balance your plate and what is the size of carbs ideal along with this recipe. Eating in portion and balanced is the key for any healthy weight loss or to maintain weight and this channel emphasizes on that a lot.
This recipe serves 4-5 people , to keep your portion under control eat one portion with 50 g of paneer for weight loss and around 70 to maintain weight .
We do not encourage people to go on crash diet or any diet which has NAME added to it because that itself is an indication that its wrong for you. One size does not fit all so one diet does not fit all. The only way to lose weight to do a realistic and sustainable diet!
