This video is about Panchratan Dal. It’s an amazing Rajasthani dish made with 5 mixes of dal. It’s extremely healthy and tasty to eat. Can be served with rice or rotis. Enjoy 🙂

Ingredients:

– 1/4th cup masoor dal
– 1/4th cup channa dal
– 1/4th cup moong dal
– 1/4th cup toor dal
– 1/4th cup black urad dal (overnight soaked)
– 4 cups of water to cook + 1 cup of water to soak the dals
– 1 finely chopped onions
– 1 finely chopped tomato
– 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
– 2 tbsp butter

Masalas/Spices:

– 1 tsp jeera (cummin seeds)
– 3 cloves
– 1 cinnamon stick
– 1 tsp chilly powder
– 1 tsp garam masala
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp kasuri methi
