Today’s recipe is Korma. Korma has its roots in the Mughlai cuisine of the Indian subcontinent. A characteristic Mughal dish, it can be traced back to the 16th century and to the Mughal incursions into the region. It is very easy to cook at home with basic ingredients and it is finger licking tasty. As health is our first concern and we don’t want anyone to compromise taste over health so we are here to share our low calorie recipes and we hope that you would like trying our recipes. INGREDIENTS:
Korma:

*STEP 1 Prepare Masala*
– ¼ tsp Black Cumin seeds (Shahi Zeera / Jeera)
– 2 small Cinnamon sticks (Darchini / Dalcini)
– 4-5 Black peppercorns (Kali mirch)
– 6-7 tsp Cloves (Laung)
– 1 Black cardamom ( Kali ilaichi)

*STEP 2 Cook the meat *
– 500g Chicken with bones
– 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic (Adrak Lehsan)
– 1 tbsp red chili powder (Lal mirch powder)
– Salt to taste
– 2 tbsp Coriander powder (Dhania powder)
– 1 cup Low fat Yogurt (Low fat dahi)
– 2 tbsp Oil
– Prepared above masala (Step 1)
– 2 medium Oinions ( Airfried)
– 10-12 Almonds (Badam) to make paste
– 5 -6 Almonds for garnishing

NOTE: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and they are extremely low in calories.
