This salad was first made at a New York hotel..the iconic Waldorf Astoria. Hence the name. The salad was introduced at a charity ball honouring the St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, way back in 1893.
My version is a bit of a tweak on the original. No celery and no mayonnaise and yoghurt instead. Give it a try!
