Today I am sharing with you guys the recipe I used to make Charlie’s smash cake! This recipe is sugar and egg free and a healthy alternative to a sugar filed birthday cake for your little ones!

Original Recipe:
Ingredients I used (for two 6 inch layers cakes):
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 ripe bananas
2/3 cups unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup whole milk (could use almond milk for vegan option)
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Whipped Topping:
8 ounces heavy whipped cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Frozen blueberries (for decoration)
