BP’S VERY BERRY BUDJULICIOUS BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE – RECIPE

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of quick oats (smaller oats)
1 medium size banana
3/4 cup of frozen berries
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon on honey (optional)
1 serve of protein powder (I like chocolate the best)
1 cup of coconut water

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a glass and sippity doo dah!

BP’s BRUSCHETTA & POACHED EGGS – RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 small tomato
1 clove of garlic
Sprinkle of chilli flakes
1 tablespoon finally chopped red onion
1 tablespoon of chopped basil
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
Salt & Pepper
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Method:
Step 1: Place the tomato, garlic, chilli flakes, red onion, basil, parsley, salt & pepper and oil in a bowl. Combine together. Set aside for 15 mins so the flavours mingle and tingle.

Step 2: Boil water and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar over a medium heat. Make sure the water simmers.

Step 3:
Crack egg into a small bowl. Use a spoon to create a whirlpool. Tip egg into water and turn the heat down to low. Let it cook 2-3 minutes if you like it soft or 3-4 minutes if you like it well done. Remove egg.

Step 4:
Toast your choice of bread. Once its toasted drizzle with olive oil. Top with Bruschetta mix and poached egg. Serve.
