Do you want to know how to stop stress eating? Here are 6 tips that can help you be proactive about your stress and eating habits

Focus on eating nutrient-dense whole foods, like meat with healthy fats, and low starch fruit like berries. And eat your meat until you feel full and make sure you salt it as well. Also, don’t eat polyunsaturated fats.

Prioritize your sleep and get as much of it as you can. Poor sleep is linked to elevated cortisol levels and poor insulin sensitivity which can make you crave unfavorable, hyper-palatable food

Stop drinking alcohol. This will 100% increase cortisol, ruin your sleep, and cause cravings.

Remove tempting foods from your home. It’s a lot harder to eat shitty food when it’s not in the house. If the food doesn’t serve a nutritional purpose, it shouldn’t be in your pantry

Try consuming more foods that contain glycine and taurine

High glycine foods are bone broth and beef gelatin, and can help heal your gut and

High-taurine foods like seafood, beef liver, and eggs can help reduce cortisol

If you’re feeling stressed, go out for a walk and get some sunlight. Lower vitamin D levels are associated with higher cortisol levels.
