1 tablespoon oil
Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the gram flour, water, onion, green chili, salt, and garam masala. Mix well until a smooth batter forms.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of oil to the pan.
Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan for each chilla. Spread the batter out into a thin circle.
