► 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢: I teach you how to make an easy healthy oven baked chicken drumsticks recipe without frying. This recipe is very good if you are on a weight loss diet and keep a check on your calories consumption. It is Easy low carb chicken drumsticks doesn’t have any extra coating of breading or flour. therefore it is also a gluten free, paleo friendly, Keto, low carb & Baked Chicken Recipe. This recipe will be a healthy yet tasty addition in your diet.
Here is how I made this Healthy chicken Drumsticks:
𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
Drumstick recipe
Ingredients
8 drumstick with skin
25g butter or 2tbs of butter
2tbs of flour
1 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of cayenne
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin & coriander powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1tsp tka powder
1/2 tsp of paprika
2 tbs of lemon
1 tsp garlic
𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻:
2 Tbs Salt
1/2 Cup Vinegar
2-3 Cups Water To Soak Chicken
𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Prepare chicken before marinade:
In a large bowl add chicken drumsticks add 2 tbs salt and 1/2 cup white vinegar in this chicken. Now pour water on top of chicken until soak completely . Let it sit for at least 30mins. This step is important to remove any chicken smell as well as to let the salt penetrate into the chicken.
Now wash chicken and pat dry with paper towel before marination.
𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Now take a large zip lock bag to marinate chicken however it is optional step. If you don’t have ziplock you can marinate chicken in a bowl.
Now add chicken into the bag along with garlic and lemon. Then close the bag and massage all ingredient well to coat the chicken. Then add all dry spices and massage all ingredients well. Now let this marinated chicken set in fridge for 2hrs.
Now preheat oven at 425F. Take a deep baking pan add 2tbs butter in it and melt the butter by putting the pan in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
Once butter is melted then layer chicken drumsticks in the pan. Make sure that you place the chicken drumsticks in a single layer without overcrowding the pan. That is why I got the large pan.
Then bake chicken for 45mins. In a half way through turn the sides of drumsticks. Then cover the pan and bake for another 25mins to cook the chicken properly.
After 45mins in total healthy crispy baked chicken drumsticks are ready. you can check if it is cooked through otherwise give another 10mins. Now dish out chicken drumsticks in a platter and enjoy!
