Moong dal is very dieter friendly as it is very low in calories. Moong dal is extremely light and easy to digest. It can be eaten by those who are ill without any second thoughts. Moong dal is used for making soups, dal fry or a simple dal as a side dish with roti or rice. Boiled moong dal is also used as a stuffing for parathas. Dry moong dal recipe a mix with veggies is also a good option for the healthy breakfast.
The main part of making this recipe is the measurement. In this video, we have taken 1 Cup yellow moong dal and soaked for 4hrs in two glass water. And after 4 hrs. boiled with 1 cup of water (cup should be the same, which used to measure the dal). At the time of boiling, we add very basic spices and boil for 10 min. over the low flame (Access water should be evaporated). It is preferable to use the wide pan to boil the moong dal, it will help to make every single grain separate.
After boiling, leave it for 5 minutes without the lid to evaporate the steam. Then add some veggies as per your choice, but Tomato, Cucumber, and Onion (optional) recommended. Green chili can also be added (Avoid for kids). Add some lemon juice and sprinkle white pepper to make it mouthwatering.
