Ingredients:

4 slices of bread (whole wheat, sourdough, or your choice)
1 ripe avocado
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, sprouts, cheese, etc.

Instructions:

Start by slicing the avocado in half lengthwise and removing the pit. Scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until it reaches your desired consistency (smooth or slightly chunky).
Squeeze the lemon juice over the mashed avocado and mix well to prevent browning.
Season the avocado mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
