2 weight loss friendly recipes that are packed with protein and are WFPBNO is what I will be sharing with you today. These 2 recipes will help you hit your protein goals while being weight loss friendly.

15 BEAN SOUP RECIPE
1 20 ounce Hurst’s Hambeens ( or any brand you like Goya has one too)
1 small onion chopped
1 carrot chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp. smoked paprika
8 cups veggie broth
1 14.5 ounce can fire roasted tomatoes
2 cups chopped kale or spinach
Set Instant pot to saute and add 1/4 cup water to the pot then add onions, carrots and garlic and saute for 5 minutes. Add the spices and saute for 30 seconds then add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT TOMATOES AND KALE.
Put the lid on and make sure it is on sealing and set to the bean setting. When done let the soup natural release for 10 minutes then quick release and turn the instant pot off and add tomatoes and kale and put the lid back on and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
HIGH PROTEIN CHOCOLATE PUDDING
1 12 ounce box of silken tofu (found on the Asian aisle) No need to drain
8 pitted Medjool dates softened in some hot water
1 cup unsweetened plant milk ( I use soy for more protein)
1 Tablespoon hemp hearts (optional)
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 cup cacao or cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
chocolate chips for garnish(optional)
Add the tofu, dates, hemp hearts and milk and blend well then add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT CHOCOLATE CHIPS and blend well. Pour into four or five, 4 ounce ramekins. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours, overnight is even better. Garnish with a few chocolate chips before serving.

Little bit more I’m going to be making a 15 bean soup first of all and I don’t know if you remember this but I remember this from my childhood and I’ve seen it in the grocery stores forever it’s you know with the soups it’s with or it
Could be with the beans and I picked one up and I said you know what I’m going to try it so I kind of use the um recipe on the back of the bag and there is a flavor packet in there and it says it’s vegan and
Glutenfree but it says it’s ham flavored and I’m like no so I’m just going to use veggie broth and some spices but I’m going to be using my instant pot you can totally make this on the stove I didn’t think it had enough to soak my beans
Overnight and it takes a lot longer on the stove so I’m going to use my instant pot so I can get these done a little bit quicker 15 beans talk about fiber you’re going to get plenty in this recipe I’m also going to be making a pudding SL
Mousse depending on what you want to call it but it’s going to be made with silk and tofu you’re not even going to taste the tofu I’m going to put a little bit of protein powder in there a little bit of hemp seeds some dates it’s going
To be so good cacao of course or you can use cocoa but I prefer cacao and it’s super chocolatey Super Rich you’re going to love it so let’s get started so I have a little bit of water in my instant pot I’ve got it on the sauté feature and
I just chopped up fine dice a small onion and a carrot then I’m going to put in a couple cloves of garlic and I just use the jar and we’ll get this going and we’ll saute this for about few minutes till the veggies get softened okay these are looking pretty
Good I turned off the sauté feature and I’m going to add my spices and I’ve got some smoked paprika and some chili powder and just stir that in and I’ve rinsed off my beans here and just look at all those beautiful colors so much fiber this is going to be so
Good we’re just going to dump this all into the instant pot then I have about 8 cups of Veggie broth give it a good stir there okay put the lid on make sure it’s on ceiling and then I’m just going to put this on the bean and chili
Function and that will be going for about an hour once this is done I’m going to just let it uh slow release for maybe 5 minutes then I’m going to quick release it I’m going to add a can of tomatoes and some kale and just let that
Cook in there for maybe 5 10 minutes and then we’ll be ready to serve so I let the soup natural release for about 10 minutes then I did a quick release we’re going to add in a can of roasted tomatoes and this is a 4 and 1/2 oz can
And 2 cups of baby kale chopped here’s a fun fact in two cups of kale there’s four gram of protein all right we are going to just let this sit in here for about 5 minutes the heat from the beans will Wilt the kale and will also um warm those
Tomatoes through all right we’re going to let this sit and then I’m going to make that quick dessert all right to make this mousse SL pudding I’m going to use a 12 oz box of silk and tofu this is on the Asian Isle it’s not refrigerated I find this is the
Best I’ve got some dates I’ve got plant milk soy milk I got a scoop of protein powder and a half a cup of cacao you could use cocoa that’s fine and I’m going to put in a little bit of and then I’ll put in a little bit of
Vanilla so what I like to do is I like to mix the dates and the milk first and get that all Blended and then I’ll add the rest of the ingredients oh one more I’m going to add a tablespoon of hemp Parts as well with the milk and the dates the
Hemp parts will add some creaminess they’ll add some good Omega 3es and sixes so I like to add that to this pudding mousse whatever you want to call it milk and the dates and I soften these a bit just to make sure they’ll get nice and smooth and these are pitted but I
Like to just double check that there’s no pits in there sometimes they you know one will get missed or there’ll be a little piece in there so I just like to double check CU I don’t want to break a tooth all right let’s blend this
Up all right so you just want to make sure that most of the dates are Blended up you might have a few little oddballs in there as well but that’s okay then we’re going to add in our silk and tofu no need to drain it our protein powder and our
Cacao or cocoa whatever you want to use and then a splash of vanilla and we’ll blend this up and if you feel it’s too thick then just add some more plant milk and I like to start low and increase the speed then you’ve got this nice pudding like
Consistency I’m just going to pour these in some ramkin and we’re going to just refrigerate it for a little bit and it’ll get nice and thick and these are perfect little individual servings all right let’s uh I’ve got little Lids on here for them and then I’m just going to throw
These in the fridge and then I’m going to take taste get my soup out and then we’ll taste the soup while these are getting cold I like to put this over a little bit of rice or baked potato is also really yummy because I mean it’s almost like a
Stew all right let’s give this baby A Taste all right here here we go finished product so this is a bowl full of fiber and protein so many nutrients this is going to make your gut really happy all right let’s take a taste really really good of
Course yeah I like the rice in here too I got to have a little bit of that M delish all right I’m going to go check on the pudding or mousse whatever you want to call it and see how it’s doing and if it’s ready we’ll give that one a
Taste too would you look at that delicious I put a few dark chocolate chips on top just to make it even more Super chocolatey but this is really low sugar and it’s got a great amount of protein in there you know try this when you want something sweet or something
