Let’s make BRUKINA a popular African beverage and snack.. mostly sought after during hot weather.. it’s refreshing and served chilled..

Ingredients for this recipe is
Millet
Ginger powder
Salt
Butter (optional)
Water
Vanilla extract
Yoghurt
Sugar

* Wash and clean millet at least 3 times.
* Drain water from millet and allow to dry.
* Grind millet into powder.
* Sieve for finer powder and texture.
* Add pinch of salt, water and ginger powder (optional)
* Mix dough to form random sizes
* Steam millet for 5 – 7 minutes
* Add butter onto cooked millet and mix together

Making the yogurt
* Add sugar and vanilla extract and mix together

Serving the BRUKINA
* Pour yoghurt onto the BRUKINA, mix together and enjoy
* BRUKINA is best served cold so feel free to refrigerate it.
