How To Lose Weight Without Dieting
The Daniel Fast and the Bible diet are both ways of eating inspired by Biblical principles that can promote weight loss through various mechanisms. Here’s an overview of how each can help:
Daniel Fast

like no matter what I do I cannot lose can you help me submitted by Jill we’ll look at this as weight is affected by toxins in our body and also by hormonal imbalance and both can be changed with choices that we make so first is to get rid of all the toxins in the home all products used on the skin everything we clean our dishes with everything we clean our home with this all needs to be very pure products most people don’t realize that this directly affects your hormones and it’s the easiest step that anyone can take second we need to tackle Foods foods help us to balance all stages of life and today we’re talking about menopause yet it also answers the same for PCOS per menopause and even fertility the best diet for balancing hormones is the Bible diet it’s and that is to just eat by the three principles as I teach in the treasures of Healthy Living Bible study so number one eat the foods God called good for us now this includes phytoestrogens in plant-based foods such as cabbages including Bak Choy we need to include dark greens including spinach and kale fruits such as berries and even Citrus and legumes and and beans because these are both a high quality protein and a high quality fiber both are necessary for balancing hormones and keeping our mind and body in a healthy and healing State our hormones need healthy proteins and we’re going to get this from meat if it’s been raised by a good farmer eggs from a farmer that you know and fish that is wild CAU all of these Foods include healthy fats nutrients and proteins and without the good source of protein we’re not going to have balanced hormones so we want to eat God’s food to get back into balance [Music] next eat at the same time every day and then stop eating so when you’ve completed a healthy meal not so much that you’re stuffed but and not too little that you’re craving in 2 hours but your body feels good and then I want you to pause from eating for 4 to 5 hours let your body work with what you have fed it learn what food foods cause sensitivity my Hunger satisfied Journal is designed for this very purpose so that you can identify which foods are actually causing you harm they could even be a healthy food but until you identify what you’re sensitive to you’re always going to have struggles and then we need to fast every day fast a minimum of 12 hours overnight if you can go 14 hours like let’s say you stop eating at 6:30 and you eat breakfast at 8:30 that’s even better now then let’s say you eat at 8:30 and then you eat at lunch at 12:30 and then you have dinner at 5:30 so that allows a 14-hour overnight fast and then two 4H hour fast between meals now fasting means no food no snacking and we have to exercise this is Paramount for the highest efficiency of helping your body to work walk twice a day for just optimal functioning and then sleep we need to be in bed no later than 1: p.m. and then journal in the Hunger satisfied journal the quality of your sleep that’s also going to help us identify what foods did you eat 24 36 to 72 hours prior they may still be interfering with your sleep I use the hunger satisfied journal to bring all of this together tracking food sensitivity sleep soundness of mind and then as you review what you’ve eaten you can adjust or eliminate depending on the results the goal is to get you back in Balance so the weight loss happens but the big key factor here is going to be starting when you’re hungry allow for those times of fasting stopping when you’re satisfied and there will be no need to diet ever again in your life because you will lose the weight to get down to where you should be good [Music] question a question was asked how do I lose pregnancy weight I gained 70 PBS in my second pregnancy and I’m 8 months postpartum and no longer breastfeeding but I look about 7 months pregnant because of my weight I carry around my belly submitted by Julia and really good question but first of all congratulations on your two babies you are so blessed well you are the reason I wrote the 40-day transformation it’s perfect to help you through this transition time between getting going from baby weight to back to your normal weight but I just want to give you the basics so that you can go ahead and get started number one we need to start with your beliefs where are you struggling mentally are you sleeping are you eating just enough to satisfy or are you eating everything what does God’s word say is true about you so those are some questions to get you thinking it says actually that you’re a royal priesthood so eat like royalty not like the fat man in scripture but royalty that trains their body well it says you are loved so you don’t need to go to food for love it says there’s no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus so don’t condemn don’t serve guilt with your meals now moving on to food we have three principles that are Timeless and Priceless and I mentioned these in the 40-day transformation course and I walk you through it there but they’re more indepth taught in the treasures of Healthy Living Bible study number one eat the foods God called good for us if he declared it good for us then enjoy it and number two is eat the foods as close to the way he designed it before they turn into a lab experiment and that’s where we lose number three don’t let any food become a god starting with principle number one how you can add this to your menu so just think about what foods can you add in and what foods can you eliminate what foods would you like to try this week try something new every week as you start changing your focus to making sure that plate is more of a a plate and honor to glorify God instead of a what can you indulge in the weight will come off are you ready to feel amazing are you ready to have incredible energy yeah and I imagine as a young mom that is an undeniable yes then just eat the foods God called good doesn’t require buying a book downloading a course you don’t have to do either of those and yes of course I have that for people who want to learn even more but God’s word’s really enough eat real food that God created let the food be representative of his creation and then let food be Meal Time and let other activities be for the rest of your day don’t let food always be on your lips between meals that is the time for engaging in more rewarding activities when you see that your body is created to heal and you see food only as a substance to nourish then the rest will be released keep fiber intake high sugar intake low or not at all let fruits be your dessert let meat and whole grains be the substance and you are stepping into the days of rejoicing as it says in third John and you’re going to see God at work thanks for asking the question says I can hardly sleep at night averaging 3 hours a night I love my sweets and I’m afraid that may be a big factor in my insomnia besides sweets I feel a lot guilty about eating too much how can I eat the way I know God wants me to I keep giving in no matter what this was submitted by Pam this is very similar to a situation we had show up in the Inner Circle someone came into our Inner Circle coaching program with just this exact same problem and now she is about uh about 10 weeks into the Inner Circle and loving what God is doing now she’s diabetic she has balanced out her blood sugar sugars for the first time in her entire diabetic career and she’s enjoying the foods God gave her she’s losing weight she’s having so much energy she feels amazing and sugar is no longer calling those beliefs that you just wrote in your question you love sweets uh you’re struggling with sleep you identified that and you’re feeling guilty those are thoughts that turn that Direct you to a behavior so what we coach is your beliefs determine your behavior and there you either get the blessing or the curse I know curse sounds so hard but it’s what scripture calls it all right so let’s go back to this and just start to I realize what do you really believe about yourself what do you believe about who God called you to be what has he put before you that he wants you to do what’s your purpose with him and then realize that the more we let foods be our God we’ve got food on the throne So when you say sweets are always interfering yes because your sweets are your God you’re serving that God when food is causing you to have guilt then that’s a God all right so we want to change out that God and put the Lord God on the throne and and this is what we say in the Inner Circle so when sweets start calling your name you don’t have to answer the door you don’t have to answer your phone instead you say that’s not me anymore I’m not going to do that I love walking in the harmony of God’s word I love feeding my body in the harmony of God’s word and then as the beliefs change the behavior follows if we don’t address the beliefs we never change the behavior therefore you don’t get the blessings that you’re Desiring I know that this is going to so help you that I can’t wait for you to send me an email and tell me how great and for those of you who are like Annette I like this
