A refreshing and protein-rich Dahi Sandwich is perfect for a quick breakfast or snack! This recipe is creamy, flavorful, and packed with veggies.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup thick curd (dahi) (hung curd or Greek yogurt)
• 4-6 slices whole wheat/multigrain bread
• 1/4 cup grated carrot
• 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
• 1/4 cup Beetroot
• 1/4 cup Onion
• 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
• ½ tsp Chat Masala
• Salt to taste
• Oil for toasting
• For Tadka – Pinch of Rai , chopped coriander leaves, Curry leaves
Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling:
o In a mixing bowl, combine hung curd, Veggies and Masala Mix well.
2. Assemble the sandwich:
o Spread a generous layer of the dahi mixture on a slice of bread.
o Cover it with another slice.
3. Toast the sandwich:
o Heat a pan or tawa, spread some oil, crakle some rai , coriander leave and curry leave and toast the sandwich on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
4. Serve:
o Cut into halves and serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
Pro Tips:
✅ Use Greek yogurt or hung curd for a thick, creamy texture.
✅ Add grated paneer or cheese for extra protein.
✅ Can be enjoyed cold without toasting for a refreshing summer snack!
