I really love this bread machine whole wheat bread recipe because it is so soft, simple, and healthy. Let me show you how to use the perfect flour blend that makes this recipe work so well that my family eats it all before the bread even cools down.

This bread turns out really nice when it’s done cooking. The outside gets this perfect golden brown color all around, not too dark but just right. The top rises up nicely and gets a smooth, slightly rounded shape. When you take it out of the pan, it has this warm, fresh-baked smell that fills the kitchen.

When you cut into it, you can see the inside is this pretty light brown color with tiny specks of wheat scattered throughout. The bread feels so soft when you touch it, much lighter than store-bought wheat bread. It’s moist but not sticky, and when you press it gently, it springs back. That’s because using half wheat flour and half bread flour makes it much softer than using all wheat flour. The slices hold together really well for sandwiches, but still have that nice, soft texture when you bite into them.
