Staying faithful to our commitments are hard, especially when it comes to our spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health. Each area requires a different kind of discipline.
Each area of our life is like a tank that gets depleted often. We need to refill our tanks so that we are operating at a healthy level. It’s like the gas tank to our car, if your tank is empty, your car won’t go. That’s what the dashboard of your car is for. The gauges tell you when you’re running low on fuel, oil, when the temperature is too hot, and if there’s something wrong with your car.
So here are some tips on how to refill your “tank” in 4 critical areas.
Spiritual Gauge: Find a bible teaching church where you can grow spiritually. Read the bible.
Physical Gauge: Exercise. Eat healthy. Go to the doctors regularly.
Emotional Gauge: Do things you enjoy. Don’t hang on to emotional baggage.
Mental Gauge: Read books you enjoy. Learn new things that fill your soul. Meditate on the Word of God. Relax.
Enjoy each moment and stay disciplined!
