Banana Flat Bread, step by step, fast, easy and the best ever! Great for plant based diets, I ate mine the first day with honey crisp apple slices and for my second meal I did have an egg sandwich (from my hens) and WOW who would of thought a little banana flavor would go so well with an egg! The banana flavor is not over powering and very light. Would be great for a peanut or almond butter sandwich too. Recipe
2 ripe bananas mashed
1/4 to 1/2 cup organic sugar (to taste)
1 cup flour + 1/4 cup for dusting
1/2 tsp baking soda
knead to a ball and all flour pulls away from sides of bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes covered. Cut into 8 pieces and roll out to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
Grease pan and cook over medium to high heat until crisp. store in fridge (if you have extra) and toast to reheat. Yummy!!
I use Arrowhead Organic Wheat Flour, I try to stay away from processed gluten but for some reason organic grains do not bother me.
