This Green Pea & Savoy Cabbage Salad is fresh, crunchy and full of flavor! Made with simple ingredients like canned green peas, savoy cabbage, dill, mustard and sour cream, this salad comes together in just minutes.
Perfect as a healthy side dish, light lunch or easy dinner addition. This no-cook salad is budget-friendly, refreshing and great for everyday meals.
Ingredients:
– 1 can green peas drained
– Savoy cabbage 5-6 leaves (can be replaced with Beijing/Napa cabbage or regular white cabbage)
– 2-3 green onions, finely chopped
-Garlic 1 clove minced
– Fresh dill, a few springs, finely chopped
– Mustard about 1 tsp (not full, any kind)
– 3-4 tbsp sour cream
– salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cut the cabbage and place it in a large bowl.
2. Chop the dill and green onions, then add them to the bowl with the cabbage.
3. Add the drained green peas to the bowl.
4. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mustard, garlic, salt and black pepper. Mix until smooth – your salad dressing is ready.
5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well until evenly coated.
Serve immediately or chill before serving.
This salad tastes even better the next day. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
