OYSTER/DINGRI MUSHROOM MASALA CURRY | ओस्टर मशरूम मसाला | HEALTHY MUSHROOM CURRY
The oyster mushroom, is a common edible mushroom. They are high in protein, fibre and iron, and contain significant levels of zinc, potassium, calcium. These oyster mushrooms constitutes a perfect replacement for non veg gravy. This is prepared in a very easy and simple way.
INGREDIENTS – 4 SERVINGS
Oyster/Dingri Mushroom (ओइस्टर मशरूम/ढींगरी)– 250 Grams
Finely Chopped Onion (प्याज़) – 1 Large
Finely Chopped Ginger (अदरक) – 1 Inch
Finely Chopped Garlic (लहसुन) – 5 to 6 Pods
Finely Chopped Tomatoes (टमाटर) – 2 Medium
Sliced Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) – 2 (Optional)
Salt (नमक) – 1 TSP or as per taste
Red Chilli (लाल मिर्च) Powder – ½ TSP
Turmeric (हल्दी) Powder – ¼ TSP
Coriander (धनिया) Powder – 1 TSP
Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) – ½ TSP
Fresh Chopped Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्ती) – For Garnishing
Mustard (सरसों का तेल) / Refined Oil – 3 TBSP
Water (पानी) – 1 Cup or as per choice of gravy
RECIPE
Cut small pieces of Mushroom & keep it in a strainer
Wash it nicely
Now heat oil in Pan/Kadai on medium flame
Add onions & stir it
Once onion gets translucent add ginger & garlic
Stir it
Once onion gets golden in colour add tomatoes
Mix it well
Now add sliced chillies & stir it
Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder & garam masala
Mix it well
Once tomatoes gets mushy & leaves oil add Mushrooms
Mix it well
Sim the flame & Cover it with lid
Mushrooms have lot of water content that’s why they will leave water
Let it cook for 5 minutes
Now open the lid add more water as per the choice of gravy
Mix it well
Cover it with lid
Let it cook for 10 to 12 minutes
Now open the lid
Check if mushrooms are done
Switch off the flame
Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves
Delicious & Healthy OYSTER MUSHROOM MASALA is ready
Take it out in serving plate
Serve hot with Roti or Paratha
