Rainbow Sourdough Sandwich with Cheddar, Salami & Jalapeño Mayo
Ingredients:
– 2 slices rainbow sourdough bread
– Butter (for toasting)
– Thinly sliced cheddar cheese
– Italian salami
– White sweet onion, thinly sliced
– Heirloom tomato, sliced Salt and black pepper
– Jalapeño mayo
– Fresh jalapeño slices
– Fresh cucumber slices
– Wild baby arugula
Instructions:
1) Heat a pan over medium heat
2) Lightly butter both slices of rainbow sourdough bread
3) Toast until golden and crisp
4) Layer thin slices of cheddar cheese onto warm bread
5) Add Italian salami evenly across the surface
6) Add thinly sliced sweet onion
7) Add sliced heirloom tomatoes and season with salt and pepper
8) Spread jalapeño mayo dressing
9) Add fresh jalapeño slices
10) Layer cucumber slices and baby arugula
11) Slice before serving and enjoy!
