When clients say “I’m eating in a calorie deficit but the scale isn’t going down”… this is so often the reason.

Their meal plan – on paper – is perfect! They aren’t having extra snacks, or picking in the evenings.

But… these little extras are being missed or eyeballed.

And the difference between assuming you’re having a tsp of butter on your toast, vs the reality of having 20g… can be 100 calories difference.

The difference between forgetting to track your salad dressing and weighing out the amount you use – another 100 calories.

The moral of the story is – knowledge is power! Include condiments in your meal plan and pre-track it to be sure it fits, then always, always weigh them rather than guesstimating.
