In this episode of Care Kitchen, Chef Gia Fazio and Madison M (a teen volunteer for Seena Magowitz Foundation) prepare a Protein Smoothie and Two Snacks to get you extra calories on treatment days or when nibbling feels more appetizing than a whole meal (recipes at the bottom). This is a simple way for patients, survivors and caregivers to incorporate extra protein and nutrients into your day to support inflammation regulation, hydration and fight against unintended weight loss.

Designed for those navigating pancreatic cancer and other serious illnesses, all the Care Kitchen recipes focuses on flavor, texture, and flexibility, so even on difficult days, food can still feel grounding.

In this episode:

– A protein rich smoothie to keep you going and two healthy snacks full of antioxidants
– Tips for snacking and finding ways for small bites to make a big difference
– Gia introduces us to Madison, the daughter of the COO for Seena Magowitz Foundation. She has been at every event since her birth!

Care Kitchen is created in partnership with the Seena Magowitz Foundation to support patients, caregivers, and families navigating pancreatic cancer through food and community.
