Ingredients:
1.oats – 1 cup
2.mmong dal – 1/2 cup
3.oil – 2 tbsp
4.cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
5.asafoetida – 1/4 tbsp
6.curry leaves – 5-6 nos
7.ginger paste – 1 tbsp
8.green chilii paste – 1 tbsp
9.onion – 1 (finelly chopped)
10.potato – 1 (finelly chopped)
11.carrot – 1 (finelly chopped)
12.capsicum – 1 (finelly chopped)
13.green peas – 1/2 cup (boiled)
14.turmeric – 1/2 tbsp
15.salt to taste
16.water – 4 cup
17.cilantro for garnish

Recipe:
-firstly, wash and soak moong dal in water for 5 minutes.
-furthermore, heat the oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida.
-also add ginger-green chilli patse and onion.
-saute till it turns aromatic.
-additionally, add chopped capsicum, potato, carrots and green peas.
-mix it and sauted well.
-then add soaked moong dal, turmeric and salt.
-mix again.
-finally add oats and water.
-and give a mix.
-on a high flame, pressure cook for 4 whistle.
-finally oats khichdi is ready to eat.
