Broccoli is an edible green plant in cabbage family whose large flowering head and stalk is eaten as vegetable. It is high in many nutrients including fiber, vitamin c, vitamin K, iron and potassium

A creamy healthy soup cooked with broccoli, onion and garlic is a delicious recipe that is thick, flavorful and easy to make

Ingredients

Broccoli 2 no
Onion 1 big
Garlic 8 – 10 cloves
Oil 1tsp
Butter 1tsp
Vegetable stock or water 300ml
Milk 150ml
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Fresh cream

Method

Heat oil and butter in a pressure pan

Add garlic, onion, broccoli and saute

Now add vegetable stock or water and mix, cover the lid and pressure cook

Cool it and puree it using a blender

Strain the grinded content into a pan, add milk, salt, pepper and cook

Garnish with fresh cream, fried garlic and serve
