Today I will show you how to cook low calories and high in protein delicious syrup cake which is not only tasty, but healthy! It is easy! You will see!
Necessary ingredients:
50 gr. oat flakes
50 gr. walnuts
250 gr. cottage cheese
3 gr. bicarbonate of soda
3 pcs eggs (approximate 3 x 60 gr. = 180 gr.)
5 gr. grated lemon peel
5 gr. cocoa
100 gr. honey
300 ml. water
1. First grind the 50 gr. oat flakes in a blender until you get flour.
2. After that grind the walnuts to small bits.
3. In a separate bowl put the cottage cheese and add to it the bicarbonate of soda. Stir very well.
4. In a different and big bowl put three eggs. Stir them well and add gradually one by one the following ingredients:
– the grinded to flour oat flakes (see point 1 above)
– the grinded walnuts (see point 2 above)
– the cottage cheese with the bicarbonate of soda (see point 3 above)
– grated lemon peel
5. After mixing all the above ingredients, half of the mixture put in a pan.
6. Put the cocoa into the other half of the mixture and stir well. You will get a brown colour. Pour it over the first half of the mixture. This is the cake. Bake it for 30 minutes in pre-heated oven on 180 C / 356 F.
7. Meanwhile in a cup put the honey, add the water and stir. When the cake is ready take it out of the oven and pour over it the water with the honey. After that put the cake with the sweet water in fridge for 2 hours or until the cake absorbs the sweet water.
8. After that you will have an incredibly delicious and healthy syrup cake! Bon Appetit!
