Ingredients
4 medium sized boiled and mashed sweet potatoes.
1 medium size beet root grated or boiled and mashed.
1/2 cup rajma boiled and mashed( optional)
2 medium sized chopped onions.
1tsp crushed ginger
1tsp green chilli paste
1 small bowl chopped coriander.
2tsp chaat masala
2tsp salt
1tsp black salt
2tsp dry mango powder
2tsp jeera powder
2tsp chilli powder
1tsp oil
Note- you can add other veggies of your choice..
Method
Put 1tsp oil in a pan. Add onion, ginger chilli paste, red chilli powder, chaat masala, jeera powder, dry mango powder and black salt. Saute on medium flame for 1 min. Keep aside. Now mix sweet potato, beet root, rajma, onion mixture, coriander leaves and salt together. Make tikkis and cook from both the sides till light brown. Serve with tomato soup or chutney of your choice.
Today I have brought a very healthy and crunchy recipe. It has the sweetness and nutrition of sweet potato, beauty of beet root and protein of rajma. Served as tikkis, you can have it with sauces or with cheak pea chole as full meal. Try making a wrap of it with variety of rolls and sauces. Try it and do share your comments!!!
