2 cups roasted semolina
2 onions medium sized
1 potato
1 carrot, all cut into small pieces
3 green chillies cut in small pueces
1 small piece ginger cut in small pieces
For tempering-
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp split urad dal
1 tsp chana dal
1 red chilly
2 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
Oil
4 cups water
In a large kadhai, add 4 Tbs sesame oil
When hot, add the mustard seeds, split urad dal, chana dal,red chilli and curry leaves
Add the green chillies and ginger
Add the onions
When golden, add the potatoes and carrots
Add little water to cook the vegetables
Add the turmeric and salt
Add 4 cups water
When the water boils, add the roasted semolina
Cook it in medium flame till done.
Serve hot .
