Healthy Protein Salad for Weight Loss | Protein Chickpea Salad

Ingredients

Chickpeas – 1/2 cup
Carrot – 1 medium (shredded)
Lettuce – 2 cups
Cucumber – 1/2 cup
Tomatoes – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1/4 cup
Ginger – 1/4 tsp
cilantro 1.5 tbsp
Minced Garlic – 1 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp (to taste)
Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon/lime juice – 1 tbsp
Roasted Peanuts – ¼ Cup (optional)

How to Make Chickpea Salad

1. Add chickpeas and veggies to bowl: Add boiled chickpeas, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, ginger, minced garlic, and coriander leaves to a bowl.
2. Prepare dressing: Add olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste, cumin powder, and chat masala.
3. Combine two mixtures: Add dressing to the mixture in a bowl. Toss to coat evenly. Serve within an hour for best results.
