Healthy and protein packed Lunchbox idea
Peas are my absolute fav and I love making parathas with this
To make it quick , you can actually make stuffing and dough at night and just make parathas in morning . It will just take 10 mins
Ingredients
1 cup peas
1 inch ginger
1 green chilli ( adjust the spice level ) for my version I use 2-3
2-3 tbsb water
Spices
Oil
2 pinch hing
1// tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp coriander powder
Salt
1/2 tsp sugar ( can be skipped but valence the flavor)
1-2 tsp roasted besan ( can be skipped but it helps to make good stuffing )
Instructions
First make the regular roti dough . I have used avocado in dough as paranthas stay soft for long time .
Blend the peas , ginger , chillies with some water
Add oil in pan , add hing and cumin seeds
Add pea paste and spices and roasted besan . Cook until peas is non sticky . You would be able to make a ball without sticking to your hand .
Make dough balls and add stuffing . Roll out thin . Cook on both side .
I spread some butter and roll it out for her .
Packed cheese , strawberries and nuts cookies for her too !
