High-Protein Salad Bowl (450 cals, 32g Protein)
Ingredients:
For the Salad:
– 100g boiled kala chana (black chickpeas)
– 1 medium cucumber, chopped
– 1 medium carrot, chopped
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 1 tomato, chopped
For the Dressing:
– 100g low-fat paneer
– 10g makhana (fox nuts)
– Black pepper, to taste
– Salt, to taste
– Water, as needed for blending
– 1/2 tsp ghee (for roasting the makhana)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Salad:
– In a large bowl, combine the boiled kala chana, cucumber, carrot, onion, and tomato.
2. Make the Dressing:
– Heat 1/2 tsp ghee in a pan and lightly roast the makhana until crispy.
– In a blender, add the roasted makhana, paneer, black pepper, salt, and a little water. Blend until smooth.
3. Assemble the Salad:
– Pour the dressing over the salad bowl and mix everything together.
4. Enjoy:
– Serve fresh and enjoy a healthy, delicious, and protein-packed meal!
