This is actually a request from my nine year old picky eater. She loves it and wanted me to make it again.
Seriously easy. Only 4 ingredients:
Chicken breasts (I used 34 oz measured raw)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1 tbsp garlic, minced
& salt and pepper
Cook on low about 6 hours
Shred the chicken and stir into the sauce
I personally think this meal is better on the second day after it’s soaked up all the juices.
The macros at the end of the video are for the entire recipe. So you can divide it into as many servings as you please. I divided mine into 6 servings.
I did measure the cooked chicken- and ended up getting 34 ounces. Typically cooked chicken weighs less than its raw version- but the sauce kept the chicken very hydrated and accounted for some of the mass. So in my scenario one serving would be 5.6 ounces.
Macros will vary based on the amount of chicken you use.
Now get out your crockpot and go make this!
