Chana chaat recipe

In a bowl add,
1 medium size onion chopped
2 medium size tomatoes chopped
Cooked chickpeas 1 cup
2 medium size potatoes boiled & diced
Coriander leaves chopped
Mint leaves chopped
Green chillies chopped
Salt 1 tsp
Chaat masala half tsp
Tamarind sauce water 2 cups

Soak one cup chickpeas in water overnight with a tea spoon of baking soda
Cook chickpeas under pressure in 4 cups water with salt for 20 mins
Save the chickpea water

For tamarind sauce
Cook tamarind on low heat in chickpea water for 10 to 15 mins
Add sugar or brown sugar 1 tsp and cumin powder half tsp
Strain tamarind seeds and add to the chaat bowl
Your sweet & sour yummy chana chaat is ready enjoy!
