I know some people will be very negative about the use of deli meats due to the processing involved and use of nitrates, and I totally understand that concern. This is definitely not a 10/10 perfect health food, but, if you use fresh cut deli meats from the butcher, these are very minimally processed and having someone hit their protein goals is probably the most important thing in improving one’s diet!
