Oil, for deep frying

-For the Dip
3–4 teaspoons beaten curd (yogurt)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon peri peri masala
Salt, to taste
