🌿 Easy Vegetable Pulao Recipe (Pressure Cooker | Less Spicy)

🥕 Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice (washed & soaked 20 minutes)

2 tablespoons oil or ghee

1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)

1 bay leaf

2–3 cloves

1 small cinnamon stick

1 chopped onion

1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

1 cup mixed vegetables (carrot, paneer, peas, gobi,potato)

½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt to taste

2 cups water

Fresh coriander leaves

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker.

2. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon. Let them crackle.

3. Add chopped onion and sauté until light golden.

4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.

5. Add mixed vegetables, turmeric, salt, and masala. Cook for 2–3 minutes.

6. Add soaked rice and gently mix.

7. Add 2 cups of water and stir.

8. Close the lid and cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.

9. Turn off the gas and let the pressure release naturally.

10. Open and fluff the rice gently. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Healthy, light, and less spicy vegetable pulao is ready to serve
