🍯 3-Ingredient Dates Halwa (Healthy, High-Fibre Dessert)

Ingredients
200g dates
3–4 tbsp flour
60g butter

1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp powdered ginger
1 tsp ground cardamom

Instructions
1. Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes until soft.
2. Mash into a smooth paste and set aside.
3. In a pan, toast the flour on medium-low heat, stirring constantly so it doesn’t burn.
4. Continue until the colour deepens and the raw smell disappears.
5. Add the butter, mix, and keep cooking until combined.
6. Add the spices and mix well.
7. Add the dates, turn off the heat, and work it with a spoon.
8. Keep mixing for 5–10 minutes until it becomes smooth, glossy, and slightly oily.
