There’s something about a simple house salad that just hits… and if you’re from DFW, you know this one. I grew up on Campisi’s. My parents would grab a thin crust pizza and that iconic house salad to-go, and it was the easiest, most satisfying weeknight dinner.
This is my take on that nostalgic favorite. Crisp iceberg, green onions, briny olives, lots of Parmesan… and the real magic is in the dressing. It’s a classic oil + vinegar moment with a little olive and pepperoncini juice for that signature tangy, briny kick.
Unfussy, nostalgic, and exactly what I want next to a slice of pizza!
