Ingredients:
3 tbsp ghee
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
A pinch of hing
4 dry red chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
1 cup moong dal
2 cups dalia (broken wheat)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup potatoes, chopped
1 cup green peas
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
6 cups water
Salt to taste

Method:
-Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
-Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
-Add moong dal and dalia. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and ginger paste. Mix well.
-Add chopped carrots, potatoes, green peas and tomatoes.
-Mix everything together.
-Pour in water, add salt and give it a final stir.
-Cover and pressure cook for 3 whistles on a medium flame.
-Serve hot as a wholesome one pot meal.
