Murungai keerai / moringa leaves are packed with nutrition, but mostly importantly they are available throughout the year. Most of the greens like Palak and Amaranth don’t flourish well during peak summer. Perennials like Moringa grow throughout the year and including these greens during winter will ensure that you get your share of nutrition.

If you are not a fan of moringa in stir-fry or curry form, try this recipe out. The mild bitter taste of moringa is cut down by adding lemon juice, kasuri methi and masala and gives you a flavourful paratha to relish.
