Ingredients ( for 4 full servings of breakfast/ 10 snack servings)
* Steam on medium heat for 15 minutes

For outer layer:
Sooji/semolina 2 cup
Yogurt 2 cup
Water as required
salt 1 tsp
Eno (fruit salt 1 packet)

For inner golden layer:
Boiled and cooled potatoes 5
Oil 1 tbsp
Finely Chopped onions 1/2 cup
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
Green chili paste 1 tbsp
Rai (mustard seeds) 1.5 tsp
Cumin/jeera 1 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander/cilantro powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped 4 tbsp

For steaming:
Water as required
Oil for greasing

Optional garnishing:
Rai 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili 1/4 tsp
cilantro leaves a handful
water 1/3 cup
