Aquafaba is liquid from cooked chickpeas that is used in vegan cooking to produce meringue.
Typically it is mixed togethe with sugar but you can ommit it if you wish to, like I did in this recipe.

This coffee flavoured aquafaba foam/meringue/frosting is simple to make and can be served on top of pancakes, desserts, or enjoyed even by itself like ice-cream.

INGREDIENTS:
350g aquafaba (1/2 cooked with starch, half cold)
xanthan gum, tapioca starch or other starch, cream of tartar as a thickening agent (follow instructions on package)
coffee flavored zero calorie sweetener
