This is one of the easiest and healthy south Indian breakfast recipes made with flattened rice. This is very easy and tasty breakfast recipe made of flattened rice, onion, curry leaves, green chili, mustard seed, urad dal, chana dal, peanuts and spices.

Ingredients:

Aval – 1 cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seed – 1/2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 2 tbsp
Green chili – 2
Chopped ginger – 2 tsp
Curry leaves
Onion – 1/2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/8 tsp
Salt
Coriander leaves
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
