Kitchen Our Doctor is presenting healthy food recipes in a very simple way. We are using organic ingredients which are safe, healthy and economical.

Today kitchen our doctor is presenting home made easy recipe of tamarind sauce.

Recipe

Ingredients

1- Water 5 cups
2- Tamarind 1 cup
3- Jaggery 4 tbsp
4- Sugar 2 tbsp
5- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
6- Salt to taste
7- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
8- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
9- Ginger powder 1/3 tsp
10- Red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp

Instructions

1- Soaked 1 cup tamarind in 2 cups water for few hours or overnight.
2- Separate pulp from seeds.
3- Add 1 cup more water in seeds and wash.
4- Add this water into pulp.
5- Blend this pulp to make a roughly smooth paste.
6- Add 1 more cup of water into this paste.
7- Add all spices into it and finally add 1 more cup of water.
8- Start cooking it on medium to low flame until boil come.
9- Stir occasionally and cook until get desired consistency.
10- Let it cool down and refrigerate it.

Its hygiencally great as we know what we add. No doubt its economical. The taste is good and very easy to prepare within minutes. We can use it on daily basis with snakes or during meals. Many people like to serve it as a side dish with fritters, channa chaat, burgers, sandwiches or with rice etc. Its really affordable.

The whole world was closed due to lock-downs and people were asked to remain a stay-at-home. There was a hue and cry to enhance your immunity to fight against Coronavirus. This channel is also explaining the advantages and disadvantages of a particular food to a particular age group
