Pappu chakodi:
Ingredients:
Maida -1 cup
Soaked chanadal-1 cup
Salt-1 tbsp
Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
Water-2 cups
Oil- for deep fry
Butter-50 grms
Process:
1. Take a pan add 2 cups of water let them get heated up. add 1 tbsp of salt,1 tbsp of red chilli powder and orange food colour,50 grms of butter in it. boil the water for 20 min .now add a cup of maida flour gradually.mix well properly.
2. Take out in a separate bowl and knead the dough with a wet cloth. this makes your hand not to burn.
3.Knead the dough to soft.grease with some oil.
4. Now take a small amount of dough on the plank and roll with some soaked chana dal. roll the dough to a stick. now remove the excess part.
5. Stick the two edges with fingers.
6. Make as many and fry the chakodis in the oil to crispy.
7.That’s it.
