Thank you for watching.

Hello and welcome back to my channel I just want to wish you all a very happy New Year a big thank you for supporting the channel last year and I hope you get lots of delicious recipes from the channel this year too I’m going to start this New Year with a beautifully healthy

Wholesome Dal recipe and I am making KET Chana Dal super simple healthy gluten-free vegan it takes all the boxes but the most important thing is it’s so delicious so before that don’t forget to subscribe and hit the Bell button let’s get cooking I’ve said that I’m going to make

CH I really am hoping that I have got CH because that’s kind of the key reading yay I got some right I’m going to take like a cup of chadal so that is 300 G of it and that should feed around four people with a little bit of leftovers and I’m going to

Give it a quick wash so I am cooking this in a pressure cooker um but you can totally just make it in a pan and I’ve said this before in my recipes too where I use the pressure cooker I say you can just make it also I’m just adding a

Tablespoon of ghee but once again you can make it in oil keeping it vegan so um yeah this goes in and while that is melting I have got a nice big corette if you have smaller corett use to but if you have a nice big one then just chop it into smaller

Pieces next add in a teaspoon of cumin seeds and then straight away goes in the cor and now give it 3 to 4 minutes to get a little bit kind of starts to get a bit of color That you can see it’s got little spots of golden this which is all we want so in goes 900 mL of water and also the dll 300 G of Chan Dal next goes in a teaspoon of salt and also teaspoon of tur powder and just give it a good

Mix I am going to cook this for only uh 10 to 12 minutes because I’m using a pressure cooker but if you’re not using a pressure cooker then this is going to take around 35 to 40 minutes but the good thing is that if you are cooking in

A pan you can keep an eye on it so you can check every 15 minutes if it’s done the doll needs to be soft and kind of breaking apart like I always say because that gives the real flavor 10 minutes for me so the Dal got uh done in 15

Minutes and I let the cooker just leave it uh left it on the side to to cool down a little bit and then I got distracted so I went to the supermarket and did my shop so I’ve come back and it has cooled down completely but I thought I better finish

This recipe so this is how it’s looking and now I’m going to finish this doll so I’m keeping the TKA very very simple and I’m just going to finally chop one medium siiz onion first and get the ban to get it nice and hot I’m going to start with a heap

Tablespoon of ghee or 2 tablespoons and obviously you can just keep it vegan and use any oil of your choice the ghee I’m using already has a bit of chili which is why the color and I’m going to add a teaspoon of gon SA next I’m going to throw in the onions as

Well they should only take around 5 to 6 minutes I just want to soften them up nicely at this stage if you have any chilies at home green red this is a good time to add to the onions sadly I haven’t got and I’ve just been to the

Shops and I forgot to buy them so just imagine that I’ve added some ches to I’m also just um chopping up a handful of fresh fresh Goodie and and our onions are looking gorgeous look at that I don’t want more color in it so just going to add the coriander off the heat

MI that’s the dll properly cooked you can see it’s SMY it’s soft sorry Cs hickings and here is our Chana D with gettes mostly if you put more ghe or oil in the Turka it’ll be more flowy but I don’t want to add Moree just so it looks pretty it looks

Prettier because I just want to keep it nice and wholesome and Healthy and here it is Chan Dal with gettes and some onion and peas Pula recipe for onion and peas p is on the channel but I just wanted to show you the best combination to have it with this onion and peas p with the Chan Dal is just

Fantastic obviously you can have it with naan you can have it with Roy you can have it as ever you like even some bread is absolutely fine whatever you do do try it do try it because chadal is so much creamier than other lenes that I cook so

Often it’s slightly heavier because it’s so creamy but it’s naturally creamy I haven’t added any cream and it’s so so delicious I love the texture of chadal that is incredible hope you’ll give this a go don’t forget to subscribe and I’ll see you back here with another new

Recipe bye for now so good guys I’m going toister down I need This
