Hi guys welcome to a new Vlog this is such a different setup I’ve never sat here starting off a vlog but this window here in my living room is where all the sunlight comes in in the morning time and so I just thought why have I not
Been vlogging here this lighting is so good this is my first Vlog back home since our trip to the Bahamas I like to do these little trip Recaps every time I go on trips just in case people are wondering you know how the resort was
And if I liked it and just you know how the trip was overall because I mentioned in that Vlog I met a couple of women going through TSA that saw my Antiga Vlog and were actually on their way to Antiga when I met them at TSA I made my
Coffee for the morning I’m so happy to have my coffee back because honey everything in the Bahamas was extremely extremely expensive like insanely like I thought Maryland was expensive I thought United States everywhere was inflation only because they are number one industry is tourism so they have to rack
Up those prices for the tourists because that’s how they get their money aside from that it was a beautiful location beautiful trip we stayed at the SLS Hotel which is a part of the Baja mar Resort it’s a huge huge resort with three hotels a casino 10 pools the beach
Is right there it’s on cable Beach I recommend that hotel to anyone and I did see all the travel advisories before we left my dad was freaking out a little bit I personally was at first we felt safe on the resort everyone was so friendly our drivers were friendly the
Hotel staff even like the people on the beach cuz there’s people walking up and down the beach that try to sell you excursions like jet skiing even those guys were all very friendly they’re all funny um so we loved it we felt safe we had a great time and the trip was fun
The trip coming back on the plane was not fun that was the worst turbulence we have ever experienced I was so scared there were people crying on the plane someone was screaming to land the plane the girl sitting next to me cuz I was in
The middle row a was on my right and then there was this girl she was about my age she was on the left and me and she started freaking out and so I was like consoling her I was rubbing her back and I was saying it’s okay it’s
Okay turbulence is normal but that that was not normal that was some crazy like our plane dropped a little bit it was twisting I looked out the window and the sky was black the clouds were scary looking we basically flew straight through a thunder and lightning storm
And since the Bahamas is like right next to the Miami like Southern Florida tip there was tornado warnings all of like South Florida I think I think that specific day this was on February 4th they canceled flights going into Florida from Bahamas but our flight was not canceled we didn’t directly go over
Miami we kind of like flew like next to it up towards you know the east coast to DC so it was just so scary and things were flying everywhere I was so like I was just waiting for the masks to drop cuz that’s how bad the turbulence was
And this girl two row behind she was crying like crazy crying and I think she was the one that maybe said to land the plane I I don’t know I was just I think I blacked out a little bit because that’s how terrifying I’ve never felt
That amount of fear before like fear for my life but planes are meant to endure all of that turbulence like even the worst severe turbulence planes are meant to to handle it so at the time you know I wasn’t thinking about it I was just so scared cuz that thing was rocking and
Shaking so that trip home was not fun but other than that um the entire experience was a great time I’m just excited to be home though because everything I feel like in my house is free I have my own coffee my own water dude the water there was so expensive
Water bottles were like a minimum of $5 it was just so crazy how much we were paying for water because um they didn’t have refillable water stations on the hotel resort I thought they did cuz I thought I saw a video saying that so I brought my refillable water water bottle
But I didn’t see any stations so we had to buy water bottles and I don’t know if there was a grocery store nearby we pretty much stayed on the resort because you know of those traveled advisories we just wanted to be safe um but even like when we were driving going to the
Airport I saw lots of people walking around on the streets I feel like we could have left the resort and we would have been fine um but you know we wanted to just be extra safe yeah the country is beautiful the beaches are amazing beautiful clear turquoise blue water so
Yes in today’s Vlog since I’m back home um it’s a couple days since we got back and the first couple days I unpacked already laundry unpacking is done I wanted to get that out out of the way ASAP so that’s done and now I wanted to restock on my fridge my groceries just
Kind of get back into routine a little bit more slowly um so I’m going to place an instaart order and just clean and get that fridge restocked and start cooking some meals again I think the best thing about coming home from being on vacation is eating home-cooked meals and by our
Last day me and Anto like we felt like throwing up because of all the like bad foods we were eating we were just crazy craving homecooked meals I was craving like vegetables and something healthy and and Hardy so um yeah I’m excited to get some vegetables and just cook and
And eat homecook meals for the next well we’re going to dinner on this weekend cuz my birthday is this weekend to eat homecook meals until that dinner we’re going to clean uh not that much cleaning needs to be done but I do need to change

Are easy for me to make that I’ve somewhat memorized now and that are just like my go-to especially with you know my weight loss Journey okay lasagna soup is number one I’ve made this in the Vlog a couple times before so I’ll try to link that below if you want to see that
Recipe but basically it’s like a healthier version and then I started making this like kind of casserole I guess it’s not really casserole it’s like a baked rice and chicken and veggie dish I think I might make that tonight I think I’ll only make three meals this
Week because we are going out to dinner on Friday and Saturday for my birthday so I’ll make something tonight and then I’ll probably have leftovers and then I’ll make a couple other meals and so the other thing I want to do is some carne assada bowls so I’ll write down
All the things I need for each recipe I need some lasagna noodles I need some ground turkey all righty my grocery shopping is done my instacart order has been laed so now I need to get some work done I’m going to probably just work here for today my office is such a mess
It’s so unorganized because when I was in packing I kind of just threw everything in there like all of our equipment and all my makeup and stuff so um we’re going to probably reorganize that room a little bit later but for now we’re going to get some work Done N get In I love how the beding turned out just so luxurious feeling and super super soft I know a lot of people might think I should iron my duvet cover but I kind of like the kind of crinkled lived in look I like I don’t know there’s just something about that look that makes it
Feel so casual and homey so that’s why I didn’t iron it but yeah so we have the bed sheets and then I put the new duvet cover on and I love how they look together and the four pillows I also love how the pillowcases have the kind
Of like folded flap to like tuck in so that the pillowcase covers don’t slip off cuz in the past I’ve had some pillow case covers that would be halfway off when I wake up in the morning because they just slip it off because they don’t have this
Like protective tucked in um seal so I love that about it and then I had these two pillows if you guys remember those are actually on the living room couch but I really want some Euro Shams on the bed so I move those in here and I love
How it looks with the rest of the decor and I feel like it just matches so well with my blanket like even my door is the same color so yeah that’s how it all looks now and now I’m just so excited to go to bed I’m definitely going to take

Avocado a little bit of feta maybe I’ll put some sliced almonds on top there too and then I’m going to use the Green Goddess dressing from Trader Joe’s one of my favorite dressings every time I eat some type of kale salad always got to massage the kale with olive Oil This does not look like the most appetizing salad but I know it’ll be delicious when I make my salads I kind of just make them randomly I just throw what I have in and anything with this Green Goddess dressing will just taste really good I was the first one out a captain

To put in the pan some diced chicken breast and carrots sweet corn frozen broccoli and I’m going to be using white rice oh I have my scooper in there that’s what I use to scoop the rice and then I’m going to top it off with some
Cheese and I’m going to just throw a bunch of seasonings on there like salt and pepper um chicken seasoning oregano Time I forgot to mention after I put everything in it I put chicken broth so that it kind of cooks everything together Cooks the rice I’ve made this dish a couple times before and I love it this is also I just that onto L and I like to make it in
These big pans because it’s also a really good meal prep we can eat this all week or not all week for you know a few days we have dinner for a few days so it always turns out really good okay and then I’m going to add the last few
Seasonings on top so I did salt and pepper garlic powder onion powder oregano uh Thyme and then I’m going to put the chicken seasoning and then we’ll top it off with a little bit of the light shredded um three blend cheese from Trader do yeah I just mix it up a
Little bit to kind of blend it so I’m going to leave it uncovered because we like the top layer to be a little bit crispy the rice is crispy on top when we leave it uncovered but I think um you would ideally want to cover it with foil
