So we’re going to go over a kidney support recipe for dogs that are in kidney failure so this could really be used at any stage we’re diluting our protein a little bit by using some sweet potato we’re using our greens because green beans are very very good for
Kidney health and for promoting urine flow and the dark leafy greens are blood tonics which we need for these dogs they tend to get anemic it’s also a good uh Prebiotic fiber source we’ve got um oysters as our zinc Source but they’re also very good for the urinary tract sardines in olive
Oil uh kelp which um is a c based product which we want for the water element or the kidneys we’ve got our calcium source which is eggshell calcium our wheat germ oil we’re going to add a little bit of vitamin D 3 if we didn’t want to add the
Vitamin D3 we could put a little salmon in here that would give us our vitamin D I’ve got lamb kidney and I’ve got half dark meat Half Light Meat skinless boneless chicken and we’re going to run through the Grinder I’m add my D3 three at the end this is a little more carbohydrate than I would normally use for my dogs but when we have dogs that are in advanced stages of kidney failure we sometimes have to back off a little bit sweet potato makes a really really good addition for those
Pets and that’s why we’ve got sweet potato in here the greens are very good for gut health um which is very important for keeping the bu down keeping those gut bacteria really really healthy so there we go
